The vision of the Trust is to provide educational opportunitiesIn relation to apiculture, bee products, conservation of sensitive natural, social and cultural environments; promote research and scientific work that supports sustainable apiculture in New Zealand. The Trust is established to advance education and conservation by organizing and running a festival focused on bees and bee products with the objectives of advancing the public’s understanding of the importance of bees to a healthy eco-s

Entity Structure

The operations are based in Warkworth and is staffed by two executive officers with a committee structures to plan and operate the proposed festival. The committee is volunteer based support group up to 6 people. One of the functions is to raise funds from sponsors to meet the cost of the Festival which is a free event. The trust will have a separate grants committee of 4 people to distribute net proceeds from festival.
