Charitable Purpose

The Wellington Tongan Leaders Council (Council) is Charitable Trust that was established in 2012, it was instrumental by the Ministry for Pacific Peoples as part of its engaging with Pacific communities to advance the Tongan community. The vision of the Council is to build ‘prosperous and successful Tongan families in the Wellington region’. We are about achieving positive change for Tongan families in the Capital in health, education, culture and language, financial and economic development.
