Te Wai Mauri Trust was established by Ngāti Pārau to: • Restore, enhance and protect te taiao, the natural environment. • Support mana whenua in their role as Kaitiaki based on best practice and tikanga. • Provision of environmental education, training and employment opportunities based on te ao Māori and the natural world. • To facilitate wider community engagement and participation in environmental enhancement initiatives that contribute to kaitiakitanga. • Promotion of sustainability and whānau
