a) Promote breath hold / freediving as a means to i) Gather wild kaimoana including fish, shellfish and seaweed ii) Improved fitness iii) Improved Comradery iv) Improved mental health v) Knowledge and skill-set learning and sharing b) Education about the various techniques and methodologies for gathering kaimoana around South Island coastlines c) Assisting young people, in particular those who are vulnerable and underprivileged, to become more in tune with New Zealand’s unique natural environmt
