Charitable Purpose

To advance Hauora or the holistic well-being of people/planet To relieve poverty by improving the capabilities of people in communities, providing improved access to employment and income generation opportunities where people are. Developing and delivering effective pastoral care programmes and activities fostering a collaborative approach to achieving common goals for all stakeholders working towards: (a) Relieving poverty: (1) Providing training through workshops and supporting collaborative action by organisations that promote indigenous knowledge, practice and impact. (2) Provide place-based employment and income-generating opportunities to the community. (b) Hauora- Wellbeing of People. (1) Co-create &Deliver spiritual and mental health activities, particularly during times of grief and loss of loved ones. (c) The LifeStone Foundation exists to engage and work within restoring our natural environment with a particular focus on the Mauri of our Ocean and Foreshores.
