Charitable Purpose
The charitable purposes of Te Rūnanga o Patukeha Trust are to:
a) Meet our kaitiaki responsibilities by protecting and enhancing the whenua, waterways, moana and taonga of significance to Patukeha.
b) Maintain and strengthen Mana Motuhake through leadership, participation and informed decision-making for Patukeha and our mana whenua rohe.
c) Strengthen Patukeha Hapū and contribute to the wellbeing of whānau and communities within our mana whenua rohe through education, cultural, social, environmental and sustainable development opportunities.
d) Protect, preserve and promote Patukeha mātauranga, tikanga, history, whakapapa and cultural heritage for current and future generations.
e) Collaborate with whānau, hapū, iwi, marae, government and community organisations to achieve the strategic goals and long-term aspirations of Patukeha.
