Purpose & Structure
Charitable Purpose
The purpose of the Trust is to advance education by providing various chess programmes for HB schools, parents and teachers.
In particular the Trust will:
- Provide chess coaching at schools, focusing on decile 1 and 2 schools;
- Providing chess workshops/tournaments for providing an opportunity for all decile schools to compete on a regional level
- Establishing the Flaxmere Chess club to provide an opportunity for anyone to get together in a safe environment playing chess as an outlet
