Charitable Purpose
The purpose of the Trust is to promote and enhance the alpine outdoor education experience and skill-sets for school students.
In particular the Trust will seek to obtain the benefit of the lodge owned by the Auckland Tramping Club
situated in Mount Ruapehu, so as to be able to provide accommodation for
students in the alpine environment – this was transferred to the Trust in
August 2018.
