Charitable Purpose

The primary purpose of the trust is to “help improve and advance the field of Plastic and Reconstructive surgery in New Zealand” through education and research. The Trust will approve and supply monetary grants to applicants for this purpose. A further purpose of the trust is to be a permanent memorial to Sir Harold Gillies and his contribution to New Zealand and world Plastic Surgery.
