Charitable Purpose

Establishing a vibrant community hub in the heart of Ōtautahi, Christchurch that comprises four houses: House of Peace, House of Healing, House of Wisdom and Bazaar. This hub is designed to be a welcoming ‘home-away-from-home’ that enables Muslim community members to connect with each other and the wider society within a familiar atmosphere that aligns with their cultural values. We aspire to be a guiding light for successive generations of Muslims as they uphold cherished customs and traditions here in Aotearoa, New Zealand. Empowering the Muslim community in Ōtautahi, Christchurch through fostering initiatives, programs and ideas that benefit this community and enhance social cohesion among its members. Central to our mission is the preservation of Islamic heritage and culture in Christchurch and a commitment to building bridges with the wider society.
