Purpose of Steambox Collective Charitable Trust 1. Intiating, supporting and developing Maori cultural and arts projects throughout New Zealand. 2. Adding to the cultural well-being of our community. 3. Supporting opportunities to participate, to learn and to experience film. 4. To profile arts, media and cultural projects within New Zealand Steambox is a collective of Maori filmmakers based in Rotorua passionate about narrative film, telling our stories, initiating, supporting and developing talent and building capacity within the region.
