Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

Parents Centre Aotearoa believes that every child born in Aotearoa New Zealand will have the most secure start in life if their parents and whanau are informed and connected. The Trust will contribute to this by educating prospective parents, their family and whanau to transition to parenting through the provision of antenatal and postnatal programmes and through establishing and encouraging parent support groups.

Parents Centre Aotearoa is a Charitable Trust governed by its Trust Deed through a Board of Trustees which comprising no less than five (5) Trustees and no more than eight (8) Trustees. At least 2 of the Trustees must be drawn from the Board of Parents Centre New Zealand Inc.
