Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

To relieve the distress and suffering of animals, by actively seeking out animals in need. To rescue, rehabilitate and rehome stray or unwanted animals, giving them sanctuary and care. To collect or trap stray, abandoned or unwanted animals as necessary. To provide assistance to the community to desex and rehome their animals, and to assist in lost/found cases. To advance education by role modeling and instructing in best practice animal guardianship.

We are a charitable trust, with a board of between two and seven Trustees, supported by a network of volunteers. We currently have two Trustees. We are based in Greymouth, but operate through-out the West Coast and beyond.
