Charitable Purpose

Vision: To equip young adults with skills for life and to inspire them to live a life with purpose. Mission: To be an active presence in the local community while facilitating work-related learning opportunities primarily for young people (16-25) but more broadly for people of all ages facing life challenges or living with disability. To foster hauora (holistic well-being) in young people who need support to transition from high school into the wider community.

Casita Community is based at 1350 Cameron Rd. Casita Community is a marketplace for people of all abilities to create risk-free small businesses and sell from our store. Casita Community is primarily a transition provider for young people who would have difficulty finding paid employment due to disability, learning difficulties or other challenging circumstances. It will provide work experience and other opportunities for eight to twelve young people between the ages of 16 and 25.
