Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

To create educational workbooks that support and promote the development of literacy, numeracy, learning of the school curriculum and other vocational skills for students in Uganda. Improve the access to learning by publishing storybooks for children that have an educational message. Organise, assist and financially support projects that have shared interests in advancing education, community development, conservation and animal welfare in New Zealand and Uganda.

Entity Structure

The Education Development Network is a Charitable Trust governed by a Board of Trustees. Our trust deed states that we must have between two and five Trustees. The Education Development Network supports the funding, implementation and monitoring of projects in both New Zealand and Uganda.
