To suppress predators and other environmental pressures to create a thriving ecosystem for whio and other species, between Te Urewera and the East Cape.
Weave together mātauranga Māori, western science and hunter/fisher knowledge systems to make holistic and informed decisions about the management of the land and species; and
To educate about ecosystems, flora, fauna and their uses through hands on mahi, while removing barriers, to allow people to access and connect to nature.
