Charitable Purpose

The purposes of the Trust shall be as follows: 1. To protect the religion of Islam from all repugnant innovations as determined by the trustees 2. To provide and develop religious, education, social, and recreational facilities and services for Muslims living in NZ 3. To safeguard and improve the welfare of the needy Muslims in NZ 4. To promote and maintain unity and friendship among Muslims and between Muslims and other communities in NZ

Entity Structure

1. Number of the Board: The Trust shall be administered by a Board of Trustees (” The Board”) who shall consist of not fewer than four or more than ten members and the signatories to this deed shall constitute the first Board 2. Chairperson: The Board shall appoint the chairperson from among its members at its first meeting. 3. Officers: The Board shall appoint a secretary and a treasurer at its first meeting after general meeting. The same person hold the two positions.
