Charitable Purpose
To:
a) maintain International Dark Sky Sanctuary status for Kaikoura District under International Dark Sky accreditation.
b) to reduce light pollution by managing artificial light in our natural and built environments and educating our community accordingly.
c) to produce long term social and health benefits, an enhanced economy, and better protection of the Kaikoura environment and ecologcal systems.
