Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

We exist to support and develop the local youth community of Reefton through a community-based club which provides, caring and skilled coaches who are passionate about helping young people from all backgrounds achieve their aspirations. We combine our skill in boxing to develop and nurture young people which enables them to respect each other, and become champion young people who contribute to the community of Reefton.

Entity Structure

We are a Youth Development Trust based on the Westcoast of the South Island in the town of Reefton. Our trust deed states that we must have between three and seven Trustees. We currently have five Trustees that constitute our governance board, including three executive positions: Chair, treasurer and secretary. We are affiliated with a regional body, Boxing Metro Canterbury, Christchurch.
