Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

a. To promote and further the provision of emergency housing/shelter to families/whanau and young people/rangatahi who are homeless and without accommodation, initiate/establish/administer health and social welfare services. To offer support and empower those requiring the services of the Trust by means of advocacy and liaison with community resources and services. Support the rehabilitation/development of people in the community through education/teaching life skills, life-management skills.

Entity Structure

Registered Charitable Trust currently with head Office based in Tauranga. We currently provide Accommodation + Wellness to whanau in our 5 x properties through MSD Emergency Housing. Our trust deed states that we must have between two and seven Trustees. We currently have two that constitute our governance board. We will be affiliated with HUD & MSD under contract as we transition into TH following Social Housing/Transitional Housing Ministry Guidelines for operation.
