Purpose & Structure
Charitable Purpose
To re-establish a natural functioning dune system at Pauanui Beach on the Coromandel, for the purpose of helping the beach to naturally recover following severe erosion events and future climate change events. To build a team of local volunteers to work closely with Thames-Coromandel District Council and CoastCare - Waikato to plant, weed, maintain, protect and educate the wider community of the importance of developing the Pauanui Dunes for future generations to come.
