To support the work of the Public Art Heritage Aotearoa New Zealand research initiative through fundraising and other endeavours, including:
- identifying, documenting & communicating information about Aotearoa New Zealand’s 20th Century public art heritage;
- working with experts to identify & pursue heritage protection for works of significance;
- facilitating the restoration and reinstatement of neglected works; and
- supporting and building Aotearoa New Zealand's public art community.

We have an office based in Wellington. Our trust deed states that we must have between two and eight Trustees. We currently have two Trustees that constitute our governance board. We seek advice from time to time from an advisory panel, which provides guidance and support but does not control or in any way direct our operations.
