Kia Kaha Karekare was established to benefit the Karekare community through fundraising to support: recovery of Karekare's community and land following cyclone Gabrielle & any future severe weather events or disasters that impact the community; build a strong & resilient community; enable preparedness for future weather events, climate change & natural disasters; ensuring longevity of the community through safe & viable access; supporting fundraising requirements of Karekare community groups.
