Charitable Purpose

Hold Down wishes to advance the wellness of the community through martial arts and holistic practices. In recognition of the profound benefits that martial arts contribute to physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. The trust is founded upon the belief that the practice of martial arts teaches discipline, resilience, self-awareness and a holistic approach to wellness. We seek to provide individuals from all walks of life to engage in martial promoting personal growth and community development.

Entity Structure

The charity will be run by Rebecca and Jonathan Woodhead who are the two trustees on the deed. We have a Head Quarters in Ruakaka where the community programmes will be delivered. Hold Down Wellness will also be delivering programmes at local schools. We have a number of martial arts coaches that will be delivering the programmes.
