Purpose & Structure
Charitable Purpose
The board of trustees wish to launch a not for profit charity as the vessel to bring the communities of New Zealand together to ascend the waste hierarchy. This will be achieved by celebrating our country's variety of cultures, places, neurodiversity, materials, music, drama, events, education and art.. Pioneering and providing economically viable waste prevention activities will take priority, such as reusable cups at cafes and reusable packaging events. Waste minimisation services and education will provide the trust with revenue streams in already existing market gaps. Performative, street and interactive art installations, facilitated by the trust can leverage the power of local diverse communities and their story telling ability for behaviour change. The Charity will also be promoting and advocating for community food resilience to showcase the full circle effect of waste minimisation evolving into the circular economy.
