Benefitting the community by promoting greater “host community” preparedness for and resilience to natural hazard emergency events affecting Napier City including by establishing a community-led emergency hub on Napier Hill with equipment and resources (power, water, medical treatment) and community-based personnel to help meet immediate welfare needs following a natural hazard event affecting Napier City, in conjunction with the Hawke’s Bay Civil Defence Emergency Management network.
