Charitable Purpose

The Trust is committed to serving the needs and interests of the Himalayan community. NZHC's mission is to preserve and promote the unique and myriad cultural practices, traditions and languages of the region in New Zealand fostering a sense of belonging, actively engaging in and contributing to the broader community. Focus is on social support, advocacy and representation of the Himalayan community, youth and education programmes, language preservation and elder support.
