The objects of the Society are:
1. To provide a creative space for niche local artists, designers, and performers in the Nelson region
2. To support and advocate for up-and-coming artists and local progressive causes
3. To foster an inclusive, progressive community that supports LGBTQIA+ rights, Te Tiriti commitments,
immigrant solidarity, evidence-based science, and public health
