Charitable Purpose

advance the education of youth / rangitahi from rural and regional communities by providing leadership development programmes which include education in health, leadership, mindset, nutrition, cultural development, and life skills, alongside amateur sport; advance the education of youth / rangitahi referees and officials of amateur sport from underserved regions by providing them with subsidised accreditation training, mentoring and leadership development; promote the benefits of physical activity and health by providing free structured participation opportunities designed to increase access to amateur sport for unaffiliated children, girls, diverse communities, and first-time participants; provide scholarships and financial hardship grants to youth / rangitahi participants and teams to participate in amateur sports events in New Zealand; promote physical activity, health, wellness and community engagement through working with local and regional sporting organisations and local iwi to support amateur sports events for youth / rangitahi: provide a forum where youth / rangitahi can meet with others from outside of their normal peer group to develop social interaction skills and a deeper appreciation for diversity; further such other Charitable Purposes (as that term is defined in the Charities Act 2005) that are incidental to any of the above purposes.
