Important! If your organisation has previously registered as a charity and wishes to re-register, please sign in here

If you wish to fill out an application form online for a new organisation, you will need to create a user account first. This is not part of the application form. The contact details you provide will be used to set up your user account and for administrative purposes so that we have someone to contact about your application.

Legal Name of the Charity

This is your organisation's legal or most formal name. It is the name you are registered under if you are already an incorporated society, registered under the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, or a company.

Companies Office Registration Number

You should find this number on your certificate of incorporation. Alternatively, you can find the registers of incorporated societies, charitable trusts and companies at www.companies.govt.nz.
Use your organisation's name to search the appropriate register and find your registration number.
