Charitable Purpose

Objectives are: (a) To help people discover Jesus Christ, teaching them to become fully devoted followers of Him and servants of His Church. We are part of the universal church of Jesus Christ; (b) To teach and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to express Christian compassion to those in need living in New Zealand and overseas whether financially, socially, physically or psychological; (e) To carry out such other charitable purposes within New Zealand as the Board shall determine from time to time.

Entity Structure

Shore Community Church is an entity incorporated under the Charitable Trusts Act 1957. It is governed by the Church Elders acting under the Rules, as set out in the 2009 Constitution. Elders serve for a period of 3 years and may be reappointed for another term. Elder appointments are on an annual basis and may be nominated by either the church congregation or the Elders. Operations are managed by a team of 8 paid employees.
