Charitable Purpose

Provides information, advice and support, for anyone living with type one, type two or gestational diabetes, and their whanau in the Western Bay of Plenty (WBOP).

Entity Structure

Diabetes Help Tauranga is served by a voluntary Board elected at its AGM, consisting of a Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary & up to 4 additional members. We aim to include a clinician, consumers (with type one & type two diabetes), youth representative, parental representative and Maori representation. Additional members are co-opted as needed. Management: The Board employs a Manager/Diabetes Nurse Educator, Administrator, Community Health Worker and is supported by volunteers.
