Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

Our aims are To render financial aid and support for the promotion of Brass Band music in New Zealand. To promote and encourage the training of learners of music and for that purpose to take whatever steps thought fit to aid this training. To undertake the day to day management of all bands under the Band’s control. To promote the art of music amongst the general public.

Entity Structure

Our structure is that the Band is run musically by our MD. The overall control of the Band is exercised by an elected committee. The Band is an incorporated society and meets the requirements to remain so. The Committee is elected by the membership.
