Charitable Purpose

To promote the study of family histories, genealogies and advance the education of the New Zealand public in the study of family histories, genealogies and kindred subjects. To provide assistance for people wishing to compile family histories from sources in New Zealand and overseas.

Entity Structure

Governance is by a committee of seven - Convenor, Secretary, Treasurer and five committee members. Committee meet once per month and provide open days and research visits for members and public to carry out their personal family history research in our rooms or visits to other center's.
