Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

Our purpose is to provide equipment for the use of Nelson Hospital. The means of doing this is by operation of a retail outlet within the Hospital providing goods for the general visiting public, patients and staff. Any surplus generated is donated to the Hospital.

Entity Structure

The Shop has 3 elected Members being: President, Vice-President and a Secretary. An Annual General Meeting is held (quorum being 5 Members) at which members may vote on matters relevant to the operation of the Shop, including re-election of office-bearers, approval of financial accounts and decisions on donation levels. In addition quarterly General Meetings are held to conduct interim business.
