Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The Trust has been established to provide governance, structure and financial support to Rotorua Emergency Response Team, which is also a nationally registered volunteer Civil Defence Response Team (NZRT-15).

Entity Structure

The Trust Board currently has 5 officers, with team members and supporters making up the Trust itself. The Trust is a member of the wider Bay of Plenty Civil Defence Emergency Management Group. The Trust is obliged to adhere to national guidelines from National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and is audited by the BOP CDEM Group to ensure this takes place.
