Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

Our purpose is to bring a little happiness/a smile to someone who is going through a rough time/suffering from mental illness or just needing a pick me up. In doing this we intend to potentially reduce the risk of suicide or self harm and letting people who are suffering from mental illness having a rough time know that people around them care.

Entity Structure

We have a head office in Napier looking after the Hawkes Bay Region for now potentially expanding to other regions in time. Our trust deed states we are required to have between 3 - 7 trustees and we currently have 5, this includes a chair person, treasurer and secretary. This is the head office and founding entity of Send a Little Smile
