Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

Playcentre philosophy and practice are based on "Whānau Tupu Ngātahi - Families Growing Together. Playcentre recognises parents as the first and best educators of their children and supports them to educate their children and to continue lifelong learning through the adult education programme. Playcentre is a family cooperative organisation where we empower everyone to play, work, learn and grow together. Each Playcentre cooperative decides how their centre will run.
